Starley and I are working on some fantastic projects right now - including a men's skin line, a joint men's store & collection, new joint projects and even new female skins are in the works! Couple that with a fun new build we've designed (and will begin to schlep together next week) and you've got two busy avatars!
So we need YOUR help! We invite you, our customers, to show us your face of style! The winner of the modeling contest will be featured in the permanent store ads that will be placed inside of the new Last Call and Celestial Studios stores. She'll also win 20,000L in cold, hard cash and a fun private photo session in the new build with Starley and me!
Due to the major work on the projects, we will not be accepting entries in-world. To enter, please send the following to *deleted-contest closed* :
YOUR AVATAR NAME!!
3 photos of yourself: 1 close front facial shot, 1 close profile facial shot, 1 "body shot" (no nudes please)
*In the photos, please feature skin by Celestial Studios (Vogue, Deviant Nation, Charmed), and clothes by Last Call or Celestial Studios. The hair, shoes, and accessories are up to you! We need to see how your avatar will look in our products and will thusly base our decision on that.
Contest entrants may begin sending entries today (July 11), and are free to send their entries up until the end of the day on July 18. Entries sent after MIDNIGHT SLT July 19th will be disqualified. Contest winner will be announced 7/24/07.
The winner must be available for a photo shoot on 7/26/07. We'll be flexible on the time to accomodate different time zones, but not on the date.
We will be determining the winner, but in the event of a deadlock, the prizes will be split and both models used.

***Helpful Hints for Photography***
- Use "sunrise" or "sunset" in the World Lighting options tab and face the coordinating direction to reduce unattractive polygonal shading.
- Make the image about you. Wearing distracting giant hair or accessories can take away from the focus of the image (much like headshots irl :p)
- Keep it simple. We're looking for photos of people who worked hard on their look and these avatars represent you! Nameplates, funky backgrounds, etc, just take away from the photo subject.
- Keep it natural. The less rendered lighting, diffuse glow, and other filtered Photoshop effects, the better. We'll do the airbrushing on the final photos at our photo-shoot, but those effects tend to mask an avatar's *actual* appearance, so we ask that you keep them to a minimum.
We look forward to receiving your entries and can't wait to see ALL of your faces of style!! <3<3
